About Aesthetic Medicine

We have the longest tradition of plastic surgery in North-western Poland. Since 1991 we have performed nearly 15 thousand cosmetic surgery procedures. The owner of the Centre, Dr Andrzej Dmytrzak M.D.Ph.D., is a board certified plastic surgeon with 20-years professional experience. Dr Dmytrzak is a fellow with the French Society of Plastic Surgery, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), the European Aesthetics Academy, and the European School of Oncology. Through regular participation in international workshop symposiums for plastic surgeons (Italy, Spain, France, the USA, Brazil, among other countries) he updates his procedure techniques and keeps the Centre up to world standards.

Andrzej Dmytrzak, M.D., Ph.D.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist

Andrzej graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy in Łódź, Poland, in 1979 and became a 1st degree Surgery Specialist in 1986. Within four years he has gained his M.D. Ph.D. and one year later qualified as 2nd Degree Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist.

Andrzej’s professional career includes work at the General Surgery Department at the 109 Military Hospital in Szczecin and the Plastic Surgery Clinic CKPWAM in Warsaw (1986 to 1991). Since December 2001 he has been Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the 109 Military Hospital in Szczecin.

Almost 20 years ago he established the successful "Aesthetic Med", a private plastic surgery clinic.

Andrzej is a member of the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Polish Burn Treatment Society, the European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (EACS), the French Society of Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), the European Aesthetic Academy and the European School of Oncology.

He regularly participates in international symposiums for plastic surgeons in Europe, South America and the United States. Andrzej is also Brand Ambassador for the MACROLANE brand of body-shaping products in Poland and was the first practitioner in Szczecin to earn the title of M.D. Ph. D. specialised in plastic surgery.

Tomasz Hamera M.D.

General Surgery Specialist, Phlebologist

Tomasz graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Pomeranian Medical University (PAM) in Szczecin, Poland in 1997. In 2005 he qualified as a General Surgery Specialist and earned his M.D., Ph.D. title in the field of General Surgery and Phlebology in 2007 specialising in the application of endoscopic techniques in the treatment of advanced chronic venous insufficiency.

Tomasz gained invaluable experience during his internship at the General and Vascular Surgery Clinic, the General and Transplant Surgery Clinic at SPSK No.2, as well as the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin in additional to various national and private surgeries in Poland and the United Kingdom. Phlebology, being the treatment of venous diseases, has been his main focus for 12 years. Tomasz has been part of the Aesthetic Med team for three years.

He is a member of the Polish Surgeons Society, the Polish Phlebologic Society, the International Society for Lipolysis Therapy and the Worldwide Physicians’ Network for Lipolysis and Aesthetic Medicine. He ensures his professional development through participation in international symposiums throughout Europe and the United States and is recognised for his numerous publications and presentations during conferences on general surgery and phlebology.
